Ibolya Csonka's art PDF Print E-mail

Csonka Ibolya's art is rooted in Hungarian history and the beauty of the Hungarian landscape. Her works express the unity of time and space. carefully wrought, rich in colour and profoundly thoughtful, her art is informed with light, and excluded faith, hope and love.

Her icons are testimonials: to the nobility and dignity of man, and the mistery of eternity. They are visually powerful concretizations of the infinite world of intuition. Her works draw inspiration from the Bible and have won recognition from religious circles.

Csonka Ibolya's lansscapes speak of the beauty of nature, and of its permanence throught al change. Her miniatures veritably explode with the monumental. Her enamels fathom inexhaustible perfection of matter aglow. Both her icons enamels reflect the same disciplined creativity in her reverent portrayal of historical figures, Christian saints, and the beauty of the landscape.

The artist's motto: "Create something of permanence during this short life on earth".

Ibolya Csonka has exhibited her works at several prestigious national and international exhibitions, and is a member of the national Association of Artists snd Industrial Designers (Országos Képzõ- és Iparmûvészeti Társaság).
